If you're driven, detail-oriented, and energized by turning complexity into clarity, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to make an impact.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end proposal lifecycle management from pre-RFP planning through final submissionDevelop and manage proposal schedules, timelines, and deliverablesEnsure all proposals meet client requirements, compliance standards, and deadlinesCoordinate proposal strategy sessions, kickoffs, and review meetingsWrite, edit, and tailor proposal narratives, qualifications, and executive summariesTranslate technical input into clear, compelling, and client-focused messagingMaintain and continuously improve proposal content libraries and boilerplate materialsEnsure consistency in branding, tone, and messaging across submissionsPartner with Estimating, Project Management, Operations, and Preconstruction Teams to gather technical inputsWork with Business Development leaders to align proposals with win strategiesCoordinate with subject matter experts to develop accurate and competitive submissionsEnsure all submissions comply with RFP/RFQ requirements and formatting guidelinesConduct thorough quality reviews for accuracy, completeness, and professionalismManage proposal documentation, version control, and final packagingDevelop and refine proposal processes, templates, and workflowsTrack proposal metrics (win rates, turnaround times, etc.)Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and success ratesQualifications3–5+ years of experience in proposal management, business development, or preconstruction supportStrong writing, editing, and document management skillsProven ability to manage multiple proposals under tight deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Exceptional organizational and attention-to-detail skillsPreferred: Bachelor's degree or coursework in business, communications, marketing, or construction management, or related field.Preferred: Experience in construction, mechanical contracting, or engineering environmentsPreferred: Familiarity with RFP, RFQ, and design-build procurement processesPreferred: Experience with proposal tools (InDesign, CRM systems, or content libraries)Preferred: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).Compensation Range: Minimum annual base salary $80,000 to maximum annual base salary $110,000; DOE Other Compensation: position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
