Teasdale Fenton, an industry leader in providing cleaning and property restoration services, is expanding our Reconstruction division in the Cincinnati, Tri-state area.
We are hiring an experienced Reconstruction Estimator to manage field inspections, mitigation scopes, insurance compliance, and job closeout for water, fire, mold, and specialty losses. This role is best suited for someone who knows insurance programs, understands IICRC standards, and can manage accuracy, documentation, and timelines without heavy oversight.

This role is best suited for someone who knows insurance programs, understands IICRC standards, and can manage accuracy, documentation, and timelines without heavy oversight.
Required Experience & Skills
- Prior experience as a Restoration or Mitigation Estimator
- Working knowledge of insurance program requirements and carrier expectations
- Strong written scopes and professional communication with homeowners and adjusters
- Ability to manage multiple active jobs in a fast-paced, emergency-driven environment
- Proficiency with estimating software, job management systems, and mobile field tools
- Field experience with water mitigation, reconstruction, mold, or fire losses
- IICRC certifications are a plus.
- MS Office proficient, Xactimate or other restoration software experience also a plus
- Conduct on-site inspections and determine category, class, and scope of loss
- Write clear, detailed mitigation scopes and estimates that justify equipment, labor, and materials
- Submit insurance program estimates within 48 hours of mitigation completion
- Ensure all job files include required photos, moisture readings, sketches, notes, and logs
- Coordinate directly with technicians, adjusters, billing, and management
- Secure customer authorization and close mitigation jobs
- Assist with post-approval invoice follow-up and collections
- Participation in an after-hours and weekend on-call rotation
- Ability to work in damaged properties and wear PPE as required
