The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in representing policyholders in disputes with insurance carriers and a deep commitment to protecting the rights of homeowners.This role requires a proven track record of success in handling claims involving hail, wind, fire, water damage, and other property-related perils. The attorney will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, litigating complex coverage issues, and pursuing favorable outcomes for clients throughout Texas.QualificationsFull-timeExperience Required: 2 to 5 years of litigation experience (either plaintiff or defense) experience.
Property Damage preferred but not required.Member of the Texas Bar and in good standingManage a caseload of first-party homeowner property insurance claims from inception to resolution.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.Take and defend depositions of insureds, adjusters, experts, and corporate representatives.Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation and arbitration.Represent clients in court, including trials and hearings, as needed.Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and clear explanations of legal strategies.Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys.Stay abreast of developments in Texas insurance law and property claims.Why is This a Great OpportunityThe Firm offers a competitive benefits package for our full-time employees and their families.
