Residential Real Estate Investment & Property Management
Location: Westchester County, NY (On-Site)
Compensation: $150,000 – $175,000
The Opportunity
A vertically integrated real estate owner, operator, and developer is seeking an experienced Property Controller to oversee financial operations across a growing multifamily residential portfolio.
This is a high-visibility leadership role supporting ownership and senior management, with responsibility for financial reporting, team oversight, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly and quarterly close across multiple residential entities
- Review and prepare financial reporting packages with variance analysis
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
- Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies
- Support system implementations and new property onboarding
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, leasing, and leadership
- Lead, manage, and develop the accounting team
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 7+ years of real estate property accounting experience
- Strong multifamily portfolio exposure
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with property management systems
- CPA preferred but not required
