Property Accountant
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 (depending on experience)
We are recruiting on behalf of a growing real estate company in Indianapolis seeking a Property Accountant with Yardi software experience. This role manages property-level financials, reporting, and compliance while supporting property managers with accurate insights.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial statements for assigned properties
- Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and accruals
- Oversee AP/AR related to property operations
- Track income, expenses, and variances using Yardi
- Support audits and ensure GAAP compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of property or real estate accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and property accounting practices
