Property Accountant

n Senior Accountant – Real Estate Portfolio Accountingn

n An established real estate investment and property management organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support accounting operations across commercial and multifamily property portfolios. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with leadership while managing a diverse portfolio of real estate assets.n

n Key Responsibilitiesn

• n Manage full-cycle accounting for assigned properties and portfolios.n
• n Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements.n
• n Complete CAM reconciliations and other year-end accounting activities.n
• n Assist with annual budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.n
• n Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.n
• n Collaborate with property management and operational teams to support portfolio performance.n

n Portfolio Opportunitiesn

• n Commercial properties, including office, retail, and industrial assets.n
• n Multifamily residential communities.n

n Qualificationsn

• n Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.n
• n Minimum of 5 years of real estate accounting experience.n
• n Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.n
• n Experience with property management/accounting software; Yardi experience preferred.n
• n CPA designation or progress toward certification is a plus.n
