Property AccountantOur client is a well-established real estate company looking for a detail-oriented Property Accountant to manage the financials for a portfolio of individual properties. You'll own the monthly close process, cash reconciliations, and financial reporting for 5–8 properties while working closely with property managers and operations teams. This role requires working in office several days per week.Responsibilities:Prepare and complete monthly operating financial statements for a portfolio of properties, including cash tracking, bank reconciliations, and monitoring of critical expensesCalculate, record, and monitor key accruals and prepaid expenses; maintain accurate general ledger records within property management accounting softwareWork closely with Property Managers to provide financial reporting support and resolve accounting issues through pre-close and close activitiesSupport audits, internal reviews, and management inquiries as neededQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field4–6 years of property management accounting experienceWorking knowledge of property management accounting softwareStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
