With over 75 years of experience, Bolton & Menk specializes in providing community infrastructure solutions across the Midwest, Southeast, and beyond.We are looking to add a licensed surveyor who will help foster our mission that All People Should Live in Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Communities!What You Will Be Doing:Direct and coordinate survey planning, schedules, processing, and project administrationResponsible for boundary calculations utilizing coordinate geometry softwareResponsible for existing survey records, research, plan interpretation and the correct staking of surveying and engineering projectsCollecting, processing, interpreting and correcting field measurements and data for survey projectsSupporting business development activities through RFP's, presentations and community engagement activities while developing relationships with clientsMentoring and developing professional and technical survey staffWhat We Are Looking For:Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited college (or state accepted educational equivalent for licensure)Licensed Land Surveyor (LS) in State of Minnesota5+ years of progressive land survey experienceEffective management and leadership skills (i.e. operating with a sense of urgency, managing conflict, exercising tact and patience, providing constructive feedback)Working knowledge and skills in CAD and survey software (i.e.
AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation)Working knowledge of specialized software processes for managerial, supervisory and QA/QC purposes appropriate to the area of practicePossess valid driver's license; May require travel, may include extended overnight staysBolton & Menk will currently not be providing visa sponsorship or Optional Practical Training Extensions for STEM Students.
