Key Requirements

• BS Degree, Civil, Mechanical, Construction Engineering, or Environmental Management
• 7+ years of construction experience
• 3+ years working as a Construction Superintendent
• Equivalent experience, 10+ years of direct field experience in structures and bridges or industrial construction with 5+ working as a Superintendent
• Oversee projects valued at $10M+
• Heavy Civil Construction including concrete, highways, bridges, VDOT and support of excavation (may consider underground utility systems, water/sewer, wastewater)
• Responsible for site safety, quality and financial responsibility
• Plan production, cost projections and look-ahead schedules
• Attending meetings, present data to owners, project partners and other stakeholders
• Meet with Foremen to review and coordinate schedules that align with project schedules
• Technical problem solving and value added engineering
• Implement corrective action to address non-conforming work
• Reviewing work packages to open and close projects
• Ability to meet deadlines, must be organized, motivated and ability to lead and follow-through
• Supervision, leading and mentoring
• Must have a valid Driver’s License, ability to obtain TWIC, DBIDs and other government credentials as required
• Willing to work on job site and travel within 100 miles of Richmond, VA
• Occasional travel to sites outside of the area

• MS suite, Procore, HeavyJob, and Bluebeam a plus
