Project SuperintendentSummary: As a Project Superintendent you are responsible for the daily operations of a construction site, including, but not limited to coordinating scheduled work to adhere to a strict timeline, conducting audits, and monitoring safety and compliance. Your ability to be hands-on, adaptable and resourceful will lend you to be successful within this role.Responsibilities/Duties:Open jobsite at beginning of the day and secure jobsite at the end of the daySupervise all subcontractors, consultants and vendors on a daily basisCoordinate work directed in the field, confirm work is performed in accordance with plans and specificationsSchedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completionMaintain daily log of activities on the jobsiteCommunicate with Project Management Team regarding RFI's and material submittalsGather project material submittals and maintain records of approval onsiteParticipate in Pre-Construction meetings with each subcontractorEnsure subcontractor is fully executing and complying with contracted scope of work and identify areas of work that are outside of scopeLead weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the workIdentify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards and issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors in regards to quality of work or schedulingMaintain full-set of current construction documents, as-built drawings and mark-up shop drawingsMaintain daily reports for all onsite activities including picturesEnsure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by Project Management TeamCoordinate required inspections with local jurisdictionsIdentify conflicts in construction progress and communicate to Project ManagementProvide direction to and resolve problems amongst subcontractors and vendorsWalk all units on project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planningEnsure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized mannerPerform job progress and completion punch list identificationAttend meetings and trainings as assignedComplete projects as assignedRequirements:5-8 years of experience within Construction or Trades ManagementHigh School diploma or GED equivalent is requiredReliable transportationHigh level of confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with Owners/ClientsAbility to read and understand drawingsProficient knowledge of building products, construction details, and all safety regulationsExcellent organizational and planning skills necessary to perform dutiesStrong interpersonal and problem-solving skillsProficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn other softwareAbility to build and maintain strong working relationshipsAbility to effectively manage time, multi-task, and pay close attention to detailsSelf-motivated professional with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamRegularly required to move, sit, and bend for various hours throughout the dayAbility to travel and visit sites in inclement weatherCapacity to physically lift between 50-100lbs
