Project/Program Manager - Level 3Location: Harford, CTDuration: 6 MonthsThe Project Manager (PM) will work directly with DSS staff as well as third party/vendor to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.The incumbent should be familiar with a variety of the project management concepts, practices and procedures. Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks.
Lead and direct the work of others. Will report to a manager or head of a unit/department.Responsibilities:Coordinate resources for the delivery through the SDLC of a case management system using Salesforce platformEnsure that all project milestones and deliverables are delivered on-time, within scope and within budgetDevelop a project plan to monitor and track progressManage changes to the project scope and schedule using appropriate verification techniquesPrepare reports for management and the stakeholders regarding the status of the projectMeasure project performance using appropriate tools and techniquesReport and escalate to management as neededManage the relationship with all stakeholdersPerform risk management to minimize project risksEstablish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendorsCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentationCommunicate and provide notification of the schedule as it is developed and the impactDelegate project tasks to team members as neededTrack project performancePerform other related duties as assignedDevelop spreadsheets, diagrams and document processes as neededRequirements:Proven working experience in project managementExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skillsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeSalesforce experienceProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plusBachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experienceProject Manager Top Skills & Proficiencies:SupervisionProject Management (predictive and adaptive)ManagementProcess ImprovementPlanningPerformance ManagementVendor ManagementCase Management a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skills
