Project ManagerThe QA Project Manager will be responsible for collecting, reviewing, analyzing, and reporting on testing progress, including testing defects, for all testing performed by all vendors and testers. It's important to note that while there are many reports available to the QA Project Manager, it's the QA Project Manager's role to provide various analyses and summations on all aspects of the test process (planning, executing, defect-fixing, etc.) and that the reports that the QA Project Manager produces may not be exact recreations of the reports he/she receives. That is, the QA Project Manager must assess the overall quality of software to various audiences and will create new reports to this end.

Other responsibilities include:Unit TestingAutomated Code ReviewIntegration TestingRegression TestingFunctional TestingPerformance/Stress TestingSecurity/Vulnerability TestingAccessibility & Usability TestingRelease Dry RunPost Release ValidationThe QA Project Manager will interact and coordinate with many areas of the project team, including the Project Management Team, Application Management Team, Quality Assurance Team, Technology Team, and Architecture Team.Additional ResponsibilitiesWork collaboratively with the System Integrator's Quality Manager and Testing Manager in the planning of all tasks performed by the Quality Assurance TeamProvide support to the System Integrator's Quality Manager in his/her development of deliverables related to quality, including but not limited to the Quality Management Plan, Test Plan, Test Reports, and Automated Code Review ResultsProvide support to all other vendors in their development of deliverables for and Accessibility TestingReview all deliverables produced by all vendors that relate to qualityWork collaboratively with the SI Quality Manager to:Establish quality measures and test processes and proceduresCoordinate testing done by all teams for all system iterations and releasesMeet the established quality guidelines as specified for the project and its deliverablesEnsure Accessibility requirements are metRequired QualificationsExperience working with vendors (System Integration, IV&V, third party validation) either by working for a vendor on execution/delivery or working for a client who has hired a vendor.The selected individual must be an experienced and knowledgeable Project Manager with strong Quality Assurance experience that can work effectively with clients and their technology teams as well as vendors and managementStrong management, communication (both written and oral), coordination, and facilitation skills are essential for this position.Ability to work in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment is also essential.Must be extremely organized and be able to handle multiple priorities and tasksPossess solid analytical skills for complex problem solvingExperience and willingness to lead Quality Assurance/Test planning and execution activities with an aggressive schedulePossess at least 5 years of Project Management experience, with at least 3 years in a Quality Assurance capacity.College degree in Computer Science and/or preferredKnowledge and experience in designing and developing new systems, using a combination of Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) software and custom developmentExperience with Quality Assurance concepts, metrics analysis, methodologies, and documentation standardsBachelor's degree, or higher or equivalent
