Project Manager

Client is hiring a Project Manager – Data Center to lead building automation and power monitoring projects from kickoff to customer handoff.

Location: Hybrid, Westmont, IL (office, jobsite and home, with travel to Chicago-area customer sites) | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CT

What you’ll do:

• Directs and coordinates activities of project team to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
• Maintains current project schedule and provides updates to project team as part of regularly scheduled project meetings.
• Coordinates, prepares, and responds to requests for change orders related to project scope.
• Prepares regular project AIA billing in timely manner as required by project specifications.

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as lead Project Manager in a Data Center or critical systems environment.
• Requires knowledge of Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) operation and control.
• Requires thorough knowledge of HVAC system operation and control
• Must have a good understanding of serial and IP communication protocols

Preferred:

• Some electrical engineering/mechanical engineering training / experience is preferred.
