The Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with the client and ensuring the project is completed on time and on budget. The PM will have expert knowledge of the contract specifications and will be responsible for providing the senior management team with project status updates and profit projections.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain schedules, including CPM updates and analysisThoroughly review submittals and ensure compliance with documentation processes and proceduresMonitor invoice processing and maintain positive vendor relationshipsApprove subcontractor payment requisitions and lead project coordination meetingsFully support the Quality Engineer and Safety Engineer and participate in project auditsEnsure shop drawing & As-Built drawing development proceeds as scheduledMentor project team in contractual obligation requirements and evaluate construction methodsAssist with estimating bids and proposals and participate in technical discussionsFunction as the team leader and provide guidance and support to the teamEvaluate data for anomalies and concerns and assess potential outcomesCoordinate with legal to ensure team follows contractual obligations and notification requirementsQualificationsEducation: bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related fieldExperience: 10-14 years of experienceAdvanced understanding of construction methodologies.
Advanced knowledge of subcontractor trades work.Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of working with Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam. Working knowledge/understanding of P6, HCSS, and AutoCAD.Communication: effective/clear communication in verbal/writtenTeam Leader/Player: Understands individual strengths and weaknesses, and works with them to improve their skillsets.Time Management: Self-disciplined to complete assigned tasks within required time frame.
Ensure tasks for the day are completed before the shift ends. Confirm with team that assigned tasks were completed.
