With over 100 years of innovation in sustainable infrastructure and our expertise in engineering, procurement, consulting and construction, together we are building a world of difference.The Opportunity As the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:Be responsible for business management with priorities on client relationship development in the Texas area, effective positioning within target client organizations, leading pursuit teams, and strong financial management to include both top line and bottom line growthManage water and wastewater engineering capture strategies requiring global resources and/or multiple partnersBe accountable for project performance and specific New Business objectivesCreate opportunities for new/repeat business; supports complex contract negotiations with appropriate client managementManage varied complex risk which includes fixed price or new technology or non domestic markets or new clientsThis role will be based out of our San Antonio office. Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and implement Client Development Plans for assigned clientsDevelop and maintain personal relationships with assigned clients, business partners, and competitorsDeliver expected volume of New Business and Earned PGM from assigned project portfolioPromote the full range of service offeringsAssign and lead positioning of client account teamsUpdate and maintain ECRM to accurately reflect market potential for assigned clientsDevelop or review all key pursuit strategy and positioning, and lead or support proposal developmentManage the assigned portion of the business development budgetMake Go / No Go decisions or recommendations, and assist with preparation of PRB documentsOversee execution of professional service projects to meet or exceed expectations for safety, quality, schedule, and budgetApply market pricing to ensure that each pursuit is competitiveActively manage performance of assigned staff and projects; and lead accountability within the RegionManagement ResponsibilitiesActs as a project manager. Among responsibilities is management of a project team.

The individual comprising this team may vary by project.Preferred Qualifications15+ engineering experience, prior experience as a project manager; technical experience and background is recommended. PE preferred.Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline preferred; Master's Degree desirable.Strong technical understanding of Water markets, including drivers and general trendsStrong sales traits, including tenacity, competitivenessOverall people skillsHighly task oriented to focus on winning new business and achieving sales targetsAbility to work in a team environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills, inter-personal skills, and presentations skillsAbility to interface with diverse personalitiesAbility to think strategically and create persuasive messageContract negotiating skills which includes knowledge of terms, risks, pricing, and payment termsAbility to sell; strong negotiating and persuasive skillsUnderstanding of budgets and financial metricsSelf starter and ability to make decisions independentlyAbility to meet deadlines and be flexible to multiple demands of project teams and shifting prioritiesProblem solving skillsLeadership skillsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
