Project Manager - Water and Wastewater ConstructionSovereign Consulting Inc. seeks a Project Manager - Water and Wastewater Construction with 5 years of experience in water and wastewater construction project management in New Jersey based out of our Cherry Hill, NJ or Robbinsville or Mine Hill, NJ office location. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating water and wastewater construction projects from initiation to completion.
Prior industry expertise will play a critical role in managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communication. We are a self-performing General Contractor with field crews. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects that have a direct impact on the communities we serve.

Professional Engineers are on staff and promote continuing education, including obtaining of professional licenses with cost reimbursement programs.Responsibilities:Oversee the planning, execution, and closing of water and wastewater construction projectsDevelop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resourcesCollaborate with engineering, construction, regulatory, and environmental teams to ensure project alignmentMonitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve potential roadblocksMaintain strong communication with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to provide project updates and address concernsPrepare and present project reports, including financial analyses and performance metricsStrong problem-solving skillsEnsure projects adhere to safety and quality standardsRequirements:A minimum of 5 years of experience in water and wastewater construction project administrationBachelor's or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldStrong project management skills, including proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholdersFamiliarity with relevant industry regulations and standardsAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detailProficiency in project management software and toolsPMP certification (preferred but not required)Employment at Sovereign is contingent upon the results of a Drug & Alcohol screening test and a pre-placement medical evaluation that determines candidate's ability to capably and safely perform the proposed job duties.
