Electrical Project Manager – Medium Voltage (Mission Critical / Commercial / Industrial / Healthcare)

We're partnering with several established electrical contractors to fill multiple Electrical Project Manager roles supporting medium voltage construction across Mission Critical, Commercial, Industrial, and Healthcare sectors. Positions range from local roles based in Ohio and Indiana to travel-based assignments nationwide, including opportunities on high voltage projects for experienced candidates.
About the Roles
As an Electrical Project Manager, you'll take ownership of project delivery from preconstruction through closeout — managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships on complex electrical construction projects. Depending on your background, you may be placed on a project aligned with your specific sector experience (data centers/mission critical, commercial,
industrial, or healthcare).
We're hiring for a mix of:
- Local positions – Indiana and Ohio based
- Traveling positions – project-based assignments across multiple states
- High voltage traveling positions – for candidates with HV project experience
Responsibilities
- Manage full project lifecycle for medium (and in some cases high) voltage electrical construction projects
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and manpower plans
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, and internal teams
- Review and negotiate subcontracts, change orders, and RFIs
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and quality requirements
- Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment
- Lead project meetings and provide regular status reporting to leadership and clients
- Mentor and support project engineers/coordinators as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager on medium voltage projects
- Sector experience in one or more of: Mission Critical/Data Centers, Commercial, Industrial, or Healthcare construction
- Strong understanding of electrical construction processes, NEC codes, and safety standards
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor relationships
- For travel/high voltage roles: willingness to travel to project sites as required
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
