Project Manager TrainerLocation: Richmond, VA with onsite requirement 3 days a week, 2 remoteResponsibilities:Documenting procedures via job aids, templates, forms, flow diagrams, and presentation decks.Creating and updating training programs.Managing process improvements across the portfolio, training other project managers.Creating new reports, generating reports.Planning, executing, tracking progress of training initiatives, evaluating the effectiveness of training programs, coaching interventions.Managing working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.Identifying and implementing process improvements as needed.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:Strong background in technology project management.Strong experience in creating written documentation and delivering training programs.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional interpersonal skills for collaborating.Exceptional knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project management principles and practices.Qualifications:10 years of overall IT experience with emphasis on technology project management.Minimum of 3+ years of experience creating procedure documentation and delivering training programs.Proficiency in written communication tools such as Word, Excel, Power point, and Visio.Working knowledge of Microsoft Project.PMP Certification through PMI or Qualified under Commonwealth of Virginia Qualification Standards for IT Project Managers.Experience with VITA’s Commonwealth Technology Portfolio (CTP) system and process is strongly preferred.
