Haley Veterans' Hospital in Tampa, FL. This position supports a 36-month onsite assignment.The Project Manager will serve as the onsite lead providing project management support in cooperation with VA staff, architects, engineers, and construction contractors.RequirementsManage all phases of assigned construction projects.Coordinate with design teams, contractors, subcontractors, and clients.Provide expert-level project and/or construction management consultation.Support Government inspection and quality assurance teams.Track project schedules; identify delays and implement corrective actions.Review and manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and inspection records.Use construction management software for scheduling, tracking, reporting, and documentation.Job Specific RequirementsEducation:Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture from an accredited universitySubstitution: 15 years of directly related construction project management experience in lieu of degreeProfessional Experience:Minimum 7 years managing facility construction projectsExperience in supervision of engineering, design, and construction teamsSchedule control and progress trackingCost management and budgetingFull project lifecycle managementStrong understanding of construction documents and coordinationExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to read and interpret construction documents, as well as communicate effectively with project construction team members.Experience on healthcare projects/facilities shall be preferred.Functional Responsibility:Manage technical quality, schedule, and cost across projectsProvide expert consultation across technical and personnel mattersMaintain oversight through daily reports, inspections, and stakeholder engagementEducational Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture preferredProject management certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM, PE, RA) are a plusCommunication, Language, and Software Skills:Ability to utilize a variety of software programs to monitor, update, and produce work products by applying knowledge of computer literacy.Ability to exercise good interpersonal skillsBenefits:401(k)Annual Profit-Sharing contribution to 401(k)10 Paid Federal HolidaysHealth InsuranceDental InsurancePaid Time OffOptional Benefits:Accident CoverageVision InsuranceShort Term DisabilityMedical BridgeCritical IllnessAny and all job offers are contingent pending work status eligibility and passing a federal government background check.
