If you enjoy being challenged, are curious by nature, and are willing to be exposed to all components of building a state-of-the-art import facility then this job might be a good fit.ResponsibilitiesAs a Project Manager, you will be:Owning full life cycle of multidisciplinary engineering and construction projects.Gathering requirements, preparing business cases and establishing scopes/budgets/schedule.Thoroughly evaluating all options to take decisions with confidence and conviction.Directing the work of multidisciplinary teams of engineers/contractors and coordinating with team members/internal customers.Resolving complex design and construction conflicts and obstacles in the field in real time.Coordinating and driving progress with engineers, vendors and contractors from bidding through to scope completion, all while maintaining strong relationships and building your network.Communicating, negotiating with, and finally selecting potential partners to deliver equipment and/or services relevant to each project.Coordinating with operations and maintenance teams to ensure functional, safety and maintenance needs are met and downtime is managed.Working with the accounting department to ensure effective financial management and cashflow monitoring during project execution period.Coordinating and leading multidisciplinary field crews from construction through to start-up and commissioning, ensuring quality standards are met.Preparing, maintaining and presenting periodic project status/progress reports.Performing project control tasks, including project scheduling and cost control.Updating and managing all project documentation, tools and folder systems, including permits, reports, drawings, manuals, etc.QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you should have:Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field or equivalent experience.Must have 8-15 years of related experience.Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Professional Engineering (PE) licenses preferred.Highly motivated, with a demonstrated drive for excellence and taking initiative.Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.Strong work ethics, willingness to do what it takes to get the job done right, efficiently and safely.Capable of using critical thinking to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, suppliers and clients.Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives.Commitment to quality, accuracy and thoroughness.Strong organizational skills, multitasking, time management skills, and attention to detail.Ability to analyze engineering drawings and prepare them when applicable.Ability to analyze Project financial documents and budgets and prepare them when applicable.Understanding multiple disciplines such as civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, piping, geotechnical and surveying is a plus point.MS Excel, MS Project and AutoCAD/SolidWorks experience preferred.Participate in team building activities along with socialization.
