THE OPPORTUNITY
I’m running a confidential search for a Project Manager to join a full-service commercial construction firm that’s building something special in Tampa Bay.
This company has been named a top regional contractor by ENR year after year, landed on the Inc. 5000. They recently opened a brand new office in downtown St. Petersburg to lead their Florida growth, and they’ve been actively acquiring firms to expand their footprint.
Healthcare and commercial work is where they shine. Their recent work includes a 200,000 SF cancer center, ground-up cancer treatment facilities, and medical office buildings across Florida. Now they need a Project Manager who knows how to deliver complex healthcare work and wants to help build a new office from the start.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead healthcare and commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Own budgets, schedules, buyout, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Manage subcontractors, consultants, and the field team to deliver safely, on time, and on budget
- Navigate the details that make healthcare work different: ICRA, phasing in occupied facilities, MEP-heavy scopes, and AHCA requirements
- Serve as the main point of contact for owners, architects, and healthcare system stakeholders
- Help shape the culture and growth of a new Florida office
WHAT YOU BRING
- 5+ years of PM experience with a commercial general contractor
- Healthcare or hospital experience is a must (hospitals, cancer centers, MOBs, ASCs, or healthcare renovations)
- Commercial experience is a strong plus
- Please note: straight residential backgrounds will not be considered
- Strong command of cost control, scheduling, and subcontractor management
- Tampa Bay market knowledge and trade relationships a plus
