Project ManagerSmithfield, RIPosition Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager to work as a member of the Production Operations Team. As a member of the Production Operations Team, you will work with business and systems teams to define and scope project requirements, develop project planning and presentation materials, manage budgets, and oversee project execution and tracking. As a Project Manager you will be involved in all stages of the projects at a hands-on level as well as management of the people and projects.Primary Responsibilities:Develop detailed project work plans taking into account resource schedules, pre-determined milestones and task dependenciesProvide routine and consistent status reporting to senior management and business sponsorsPlan and coordinate project schedules and makes project assignmentsWork directly with the user community for project definition and can articulate business information to the groupIdentify and influence stakeholders on all issues related to the projectPartner with the business community to provide internal and external rollout strategy to ensure business communication needs are metProvide integrated oversight and controls from initial project assessment through launch ensuring deliverables are met on schedule and within budgetAdhere to financial guidelines including project budgets, billing, etc.Build partnership relationships within and across the systems and business unitsInitiate discussions with users or external groups to define projects and resolve issuesResponsible for understanding and handling change management impactsQualifications:7-10+ years of technical project management experience in systems development or IT project managementFidelity experience is a plusIn-depth understanding and experience with development methodologiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)Strong analytical and problem solving skillsMust possess the ability to combine functional, technical, and project management expertiseFlexible attitude that enables the individual to deal comfortably with changing prioritiesExperience in demonstrating leadership, influence and collaboration in a matrix-managed environment across multiple and diverse groupsPMP Certification preferred
