Senior Project ManagerAudubon is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team in our Houston, TX Office. The Senior Project Manager is accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of complex and/or large projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. The successful Senior Project Manager will provide direction and management support to project teams during the execution of engineering projects.Primary Responsibilities:Acting as the primary interface between the project team and the client representative.
The PM is the face of Audubon to theCreating, executing and revising project execution plans as required to meet client requirements and projectIdentifying resources needed and managing teamManaging day-to-day operational aspects of assignedEnsuring that all deliverables have been reviewed, approved and signed off prior to issue to the client.Responsible for reviewing project transactions and reporting any discrepancies on a weeklyResponsible for review and approval of invoices within a 48hrResponsible for maintaining the resource planning on assignedManaging the project budget andRemaining completely accessible to client during the life of project and providing single point of contact, ensuring specific requests are process timely andOrganizing and directing a Project Management Team of other Project Managers and/or Project Engineers.Driving a Management of Change philosophy and enforcing correspondingServing as the champion for safety and quality on theReviewing and providing final approval to all subcontractors' contracts andManaging the overall execution ofPossessing a detailed understanding of the sales / BDUnderstanding the relationship between multi-discipline deliverable packages - including procurement and constructionEffectively utilizes each team member to their fullestMotivating team to work together in the most efficientKeeping track of lessons learned and sharing those lessons with team members andMitigating team conflict and communicationSuggesting areas for improvement in internal processes along with possibleLeading and/or acting as a member of internal teams/taskAnalyzing project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, efficiency, andAdditional duties as required.Experience and Skill RequirementsAssociate's Degree and 10+ years of relative experience or a Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of relativeEducation/Licensure Preferred: BS Engineering, MBA, Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Engineer (PE)7+ years of industry related experience as a Project Engineer or Project10+ years of experience as the Lead Engineer on large multi-discipline projects, Project Engineer and/or Project Manager preferred.Working knowledge of scheduling techniques andKnowledgeable in cost estimating andAble to speak comfortably in a groupUnderstanding of all applicable disciplineFinancialUnderstands complex revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and makes decisions accordingly.Understands our pricing model and billingAccurately forecasts revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates andNo Recruiters, please!Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
