Project Manager/Scrum Master Hybrid (Healthcare)Reston, Virginia3/8/2021 to 3/1/2022Client: CareFirst Client FEPOC pay rate: $68/hr on w2 all inclusive5-8 Years Project Management Experience in the following:Responsibilities:This is a Project Manager/Scrum Master Hybrid role focused on the expansion of DataNow data product to the BCBSA plans.This role facilitates key ceremonies driving agility.Encourages tools (Jira, MS Teams) adoption and process adherence that aid the team.Set up and facilitate iteration planning, daily scrum, demo, and retrospective meetings.Keep track of project performance on a daily basis.Identify risks and issues and take ownership of issue resolution.Coach team on the Agile methodology and help them improve on the required soft skills.Create a baseline of cost and schedule according to the initial story backlog.Rigorously manages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed on time, cost, and quality parameters.Validates financial forecasts and provides on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures.Publishes periodic project status reports and represents the project in various project governance and inter-department forums.Defines and tracks project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan.Qualifications:10+ years of IT experience with minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience with at least 3 years in Data warehouse, Big data, Business Intelligence, or Analytics projects.Hands on experience on Agile practices, Scrum process, Kanban, and waterfall methodology.Bachelor's degree and Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is a must.Excellent knowledge of Jira, MS Teams, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project and MS Visio.Experience with Data Modeling, Data Analysis, Data Migration.Experience working in a fast paced environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Candidate must be adaptable and nimble in their approach.Release Management Skills.Strong customer skills with internal and external customers.Must be able to perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision.Healthcare experience is a plus.Additional Notes to Vendor Candidates must be from DMV area only (Washington DC, Maryland or Virginia) Interview process: 2 rounds - Telephonic and Skype
