Project Manager – Satellite Ground Station InfrastructureWe are looking for a Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of satellite ground station infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for managing projects from feasibility and site acquisition through engineering, construction, installation, commissioning, and operational handover while ensuring delivery is safe, on time, within budget, and aligned with customer, contractual, and regulatory requirements.Responsibilities include:Develop and maintain integrated project schedules and milestonesCoordinate engineering, procurement, construction, logistics, installation, and commissioning activitiesManage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and change requestsPrepare weekly and monthly status reports, dashboards, and executive updatesManage contractors, suppliers, and customer communicationsEnsure compliance with quality, health and safety, and contractual requirementsCoordinate FAT, SAT, commissioning, and customer acceptance activitiesMaintain project documentation and lessons learned recordsQualifications include:Degree in Engineering, Construction, Telecommunications, or Project Management, or equivalent experiencePRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, or APM PMQ designation is desirableKnowledge of ground station infrastructureKnowledge of satellite communications including LEO, MEO, and GEO environmentsUnderstanding of RF systems and antennasKnowledge of fibre connectivityKnowledge of power systems, UPS, generators, and HVACProficiency with Microsoft Project and/or SmartsheetUnderstanding of project controls and schedulingStrong leadership skillsStrong stakeholder management capabilitiesCommercial awarenessProblem-solving skillsNegotiation skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAdditional requirements include:Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project activities and stakeholdersCommitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfactionAbility to manage project documentation and reporting requirementsCandidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.Compensation: $105,000 to $140,000Position Type: We have 1 available position(s).At Calian, we do not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to screen or evaluate candidates.
