Project Manager, Salesforce or Workday experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects supporting HR (Workday), Sales (Salesforce), and Marketing initiatives.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand project goals, requirements, scope, timelines, and success criteria.
• Plan and present projects strategically - go behind "tracking the tasks".
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, vendors, and business partners to execute project deliverables.
• Proactively identify, manage, and remove project roadblocks, risks, and dependencies.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Facilitate project governance, status reporting, and executive updates.
• Manage change requests and ensure proper communication and stakeholder alignment.
• Ensure adherence to IT standards, security requirements, and compliance policies.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management practices and delivery outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing IT projects in an enterprise environment, including at least 3 successful projects.
• Experience supporting business systems for HR, Sales, or Marketing.
• Experience with implementations of either Salesforce, or Workday, or both.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid).
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
• Experience working with third‑party vendors and system integrators.
