Construction Project ManagerThe Korte Company is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for nationwide DoD, Healthcare and Industrial projects to join our team. Past experience on past DoD projects and willingness to travel to project sites 1-3 times a month is required for this primary point of contact and coordination.Essential FunctionsMaintain open contact with owners, customers, designers, subcontractors and internal team members.Manage the flow of information to project participants.Collaborate with the owner, designers, preconstruction services and other team members to ensure the project design and construction achieves the desired outcome for all parties involved.Read and interpret specifications and plans to determine requirements and planning proceduresEstablish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specificationsPartner with Supervisor to budget, manage and forecast subco ntractor labor, equipment, materials, small tools, consumables and general conditionsMonitor and control project through administrative direction of Supervisor to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budgetInterpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers and clientsManage financial aspects of contracts to protect company's interest while maintaining good relationship with the customerComplete all reports and records in an accurate and timely mannerMinimum QualificationsStrong organization and time management skillsSelf-starter and motivated with minimal supervisionAbility to prioritize and multi-task within time constraintsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessional in actions and appearanceEffective interactions with customers, designers, subcontractors, employees and assistantsStrong computer skillsPrevious experience with P6.Willing to travel or relocate to the jobsite as necessaryEducation + ExperienceDegree in Construction Management or Construction Engineering5-10 years of construction Project Management experienceConstruction experience building DOD projects nationwideHangar, Reserve/Training Centers, Simulators & Dorm experience preferredGround-Up Commercial projects over 60M+History working on military bases and partnering with NAVFAC and US ACEAbout The Korte CompanyThe Korte Company was founded in 1958 on the belief that professionalism, quality and value added services are fundamental to a successful company.
