Project Manager For Ot SystemsA large Engineering customer of Marathon TS is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic team.The OT System Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects related to Operational Technology (OT) systems, including industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, PLCs, DCS, and related infrastructure. This role bridges engineering, IT, cybersecurity, and operations to ensure OT projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and in compliance with industry standards.Project ManagementLead end-to-end OT system projects from initiation through commissioning and handoverDevelop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocationTrack project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues impacting scope, timeline, or costCoordinate internal teams, system integrators, vendors, and contractorsOT Systems & EngineeringOversee deployment, upgrades, and integration of OT systems (SCADA, PLC, DCS, HMI, historians, networks)Ensure system designs align with operational requirements, safety standards, and regulatory complianceSupport factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and commissioning activitiesManage system documentation, configuration management, and change controlCybersecurity & ComplianceCollaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure OT systems meet security requirementsSupport implementation of OT cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST)Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and industry regulationsStakeholder CommunicationAct as the primary point of contact for OT project stakeholdersCommunicate project status, risks, and milestones to leadership and operations teamsAlign project outcomes with business and operational goalsContinuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to standardize OT architectures, tools, and processesCapture lessons learned and contribute to best practices for OT project deliveryRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field5+ years of project management experience in OT, industrial automation, or manufacturing environmentsHands-on experience with OT systems such as PLCs, SCADA, DCS, or industrial networksStrong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid)Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsProject Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)Experience with OT cybersecurity and compliance standardsBackground in regulated or safety-critical industries (manufacturing, energy, utilities, oil & gas, pharma)Familiarity with system integrators and vendor managementMarathon TS is committed to the development of a creative, diverse and inclusive work environment.
