Project Manager – Retail Allocation & Replenishment

Evolve Partners is supporting a specialist transformation consultancy with the appointment of an experienced Project Manager for a major retail transformation programme in Illinois.

We’re looking for a delivery-focused PM with experience managing retail space-planning or planogram-system implementations, ideally using Blue Yonder/JDA Space Planning, also known as ProSpace.

Relevant implementation experience with RELEX Space Planning or Spaceman will also be considered.

Consulting or professional-services experience would be particularly valuable.

The role

You’ll manage implementation delivery across retail business stakeholders, functional specialists, internal technology teams and third-party vendors.

Responsibilities will include:

• Owning the integrated project plan, milestones and dependencies.
• Coordinating internal resources, subject-matter experts and implementation partners.
• Managing RAID logs, risk mitigation, issue resolution and escalations.
• Maintaining clear project governance and accountability across workstreams.
• Presenting project status, risks and decisions at steering committee.
• Coordinating testing, implementation readiness and business sign-off.
• Managing delivery commitments and driving outstanding actions to resolution.
• Keeping business and technology teams aligned throughout the programme.

What we're looking for

• Experience managing retail space-planning or planogram-system implementations.
• Ideally, direct PM experience with Blue Yonder/JDA Space Planning or ProSpace. Relevant RELEX Space Planning or Spaceman implementation experience will also be considered.
• Strong project planning, governance, risk and dependency management.
• Experience managing third-party vendors alongside internal business and technology resources.
• Confidence working with retail planning, merchandising and space-planning specialists.
• Clear executive communication and steering committee reporting.
• Consulting or professional-services experience preferred.

This is a project delivery leadership role. Experience using space-planning software to create planograms alone is insufficient; you should be able to demonstrate responsibility for managing implementation delivery.

Location

The programme requires one full week onsite at a rural Illinois location, alternating with one week remote, on an ongoing basis.

You do not need to live in Illinois, but you must be willing and able to commit to this travel pattern.

Both permanent employment and contract engagement can be considered.
