QPS keeps backup power systems running smoothly, so business can power forward.The Project Manager is responsible for leading the execution of complex, large-scale critical power projects from initiation through commissioning and closeout. This role oversees all aspects of project delivery, including engineering coordination, procurement, installation, and client management, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.This position requires deep expertise in critical power infrastructure (UPS, battery systems) and strong leadership in managing cross-functional teams and high-profile clients.Principle Job DutiesLead full lifecycle delivery of large-scale critical power projects, including data centers, healthcare, and industrial applicationsDevelop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocationsEnsure alignment with contract scope, technical specifications, and client expectationsDrive project milestones, proactively identifying and mitigating risksOwn project P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlManage change orders, billing milestones, and financial reportingEnsure profitability targets are met or exceededServe as the primary point of contact for key clients and stakeholdersBuild and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and performanceLead project meetings, executive updates, and progress reviewsCoordinate closely with engineering teams to ensure system design meets application requirementsOversee installation, commissioning, and testing of critical power systemsEnsure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA, IEEE)Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, field service, procurement, and subcontractorsFoster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvementIdentify project risks and implement mitigation strategiesEnsure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirementsManage subcontractor performance and contractual complianceQualificationsTo perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential additional responsibility/duty satisfactorily and have a consistent history of a high-performance track record. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Preferred Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field8-10+ years of project management experience, preferably in critical power, electrical infrastructure, or data center environmentsStrong knowledge of UPS systems and backup power solutionsPMP certification strongly preferredKnowledge, Skillset & AbilitiesStrategic thinking and problem-solvingStrong financial acumenExecutive-level communication skillsLeadership and team developmentAbility to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneouslyPhysical demands include a combination of office, remote, and field-based work at project sites.

Travel required (25-50%) depending on project scope and location.
