Solutions Architect, GPMOWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solutions Architect, GPMO to join our team to develop and implement custom solutions to support and improve Global PMO operational processes, methods, and tools. Lead initiatives to resolve issues systemic to the broad portfolio and improve process efficiencies to drive key business metrics.As an Applications Developer, you will be responsible for the full application lifecycle—from requirements gathering and design to deployment and support. You will also ensure seamless integration with various data sources, maintain and optimize existing apps, and provide training and documentation to end users. This position requires strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for leveraging technology to drive business outcomes.Responsibilities:Application Design & DevelopmentDesign and build custom applications using Google AppSheet based on business requirementsEnsure apps are intuitive, scalable, and aligned with user needsImplement features such as forms, workflows, and dashboards to enhance functionalityData Integration & ManagementConnect applications to various data sources including AppSheet Database, Excel, and SQL databasesEnsure data integrity, consistency, and security across all integrated systemsCreate and manage data models to support app functionalityStakeholder CollaborationWork with business users to gather and refine application requirementsTranslate non-technical needs into functional app featuresProvide regular updates and incorporate feedback throughout the development processMaintenance & OptimizationMonitor app performance and troubleshoot issues as they ariseImplement updates and enhancements based on user feedback and evolving needsEnsure apps remain compliant with organizational standards and best practicesUser Support & TrainingProvide training sessions and documentation to support user adoptionRespond to user inquiries and resolve technical issues promptlyPromote best practices for using AppSheet and related toolsArtificial IntelligenceExperience or certification leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) for process solutions / automation, and/or data mining and analysis is strongly preferred.Requirements:BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or equivalent requiredGoogle AppSheet Certification preferredDesign for Six Sigma / Lean Six Sigma / Design Thinking experience preferredCertifications utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) for process solutions, process automation and/or data mining and analysis is strongly preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to translate business needs into technical solutionsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesStrong communication skills to communicate complex topics effortlessly with Global LeadersAbility to take directions, lead teams, and drive for resultsDemonstrated expertise creating executive level presentationsThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv's Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.OUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
