Job Description
IG is looking for a true Healthcare IT Project Manager who can confidently lead complex EHR and enterprise technology initiatives while navigating multiple stakeholder groups. The ideal candidate has experience managing large cross-functional projects, understands healthcare operations, and can balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution.
They need someone who is highly organized, proactive, comfortable presenting to executives, and skilled at driving accountability across teams. Candidates with Epic implementation experience, enterprise healthcare technology project experience, or PMO leadership backgrounds will be especially attractive for this role.
Required Skills & Experience
• PMP Certification
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare IT, information systems, application support, or related technical environments
• 2+ years of project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives
• Experience managing project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Proven experience leading multiple workstreams and coordinating across operational, clinical, and technical teams
• Experience with workflow analysis, application support, or healthcare technology projects
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Epic implementation or healthcare EHR project experience
• Experience supporting large-scale system implementations or digital transformation initiatives
• Budget ownership and financial tracking experience
• Experience mentoring project managers or project coordinators
• Knowledge of project governance frameworks and PMO best practices
• Experience within a hospital or integrated healthcare system
$70 to $80
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
