Project Manager (Owners Rep)

We are hiring a Project Manager to act as an Owners Representative for Tenant Improvement projects in DC. This is hybrid on site role - Monday/Friday work from home, Tues-Thurs in person in DC.

Experience Required

• Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
• 5-10 years of practical experience in a project administration or related field required.
• Experience in construction project management - ideally as an owners representative or in design build - architecture background is ideal
• Ability to prepare and track budgets

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Team on projects and assignments of varying complexity and size.
• Proactively manage project-related issues.
• Develop scope, schedule and budget for assigned projects.
• Conduct and document weekly meetings. Accurately and completely document meetings through standard minutes.
• Coordinate and track all RFP’s, RFI’s, submittals, and other information logs. Maintain accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation.
• Interact and negotiate with general contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals.
• Prepare/update project status reports, process purchase and change orders and invoices, update tracking reports and maintain files for due diligence and financials.
• Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner.
