Project ManagerThe Project Manager is responsible for managing manufacturing-related project activities supporting Metamic (aluminum composite) panels, aluminum shims, and assembly of baskets and ancillaries at Holtec's Orrvilon Manufacturing Division. This role partners closely with Project Engineers, technical leadership, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project execution aligns with scope, schedule, and quality objectives. The Project Manager will contribute to a project-driven, highly integrated, and multinational engineering environment.Location: Orrville, OHPrimary Responsibilities:Manage project activities related to manufacturing and assembly operationsPartner with Project Engineers and technical leadership to plan, execute, forecast, prioritize, and assess project workCoordinate resolution of technical items with internal stakeholders, project partners, and vendorsTrack and execute approval of subcontractor deliverablesDevelop and manage purchase orders, change orders, and contract documentationLead key project initiatives, including development of supporting documentation and proceduresReview vendor deliverables and products, providing critical comments and recommendationsCollaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams and external vendorsPrepare presentations and review department deliverablesOrganize and track engineering and licensing documentationProvide mentoring and guidance to Project team membersSupport non-technical logistics for permanent staff and contractors, including integration with Holtec software toolsRequirements:Degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline5+ years of experience project managing in a heavy manufacturing environmentDemonstrated ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and multi-task effectivelyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and reliable work styleEffective communication, interpersonal, and computer skillsHigh attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, error-free documentation and follow established processesAbility to work effectively within diverse and challenging team environmentsWillingness and ability to learn and adapt in a technical manufacturing environmentProject Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus but not requiredExperience assessing multidisciplinary engineering work packagesBenefits: Industry-leading medical, dental, and vision coverage with a generous employer premium contribution and Day 1 eligibility!
