Project ManagerThe Project Manager plans, develops, coordinates, and manages onsite construction activities for large, extensive projects.Responsibilities:Responsible for the overall management of all project activities and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policyDirect supervision of all field employees including Superintendents, Project Engineers, Assistants to ensure projects are on schedule and within budgetResponsible for Job Profit and LossManages company-owned and rental equipment resourcesDevelops and directs the implementation of two-week work schedulesPlans and organizes all project staff including interview, hire, train and coach to maximize employee performanceReviews and selects construction methods and practicesDirects communications with owner, owner's representatives and engineersProvides interpretation of disputes and changed conditionsProvides input and review of CPM Construction ScheduleReview weekly timecards and job cost reportingApproves and reviews all jobsite purchasesResponsible for coordination between subcontractors and suppliersAdheres to and leads jobsite safety policies and proceduresManages all financial aspects for the projectSupports and/or participates in assigned bidding of projectsAssists in field Labor RelationsQualifications:4 years engineering or construction management degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience4 years' experience managing the construction of multi-million dollar water, wastewater or industrial related plants.Results oriented, high level of integrity and ethical standardsDemonstrated experience in the water, wastewater, or industrial contracting arenaStrong communication skills and proven leadership abilityAbility to adhere to budgets and schedulesExcellent documentation skillsWorking knowledge in Microsoft Office suite (such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) as well as the use of the internet and scheduling softwareMust have good communications and analytical skillsMust have excellent customer service and interpersonal skillsWorking Conditions:100% of the time is spent on the project.
