Off Site Constructed Mechanical Equipment Project ManagerManage all aspects of Off Site Constructed (OSC) Mechanical Equipment projects (including Central Utility plants, Mechanical equipment Rooms, Modular Data Centers, and Custom Air Handling units) from initial design phases through installation, start-up and final completion. Manage development of design, specifications and drawings. Must exercise considerable independent judgment and initiative in performing assigned duties.

Must exercise tact and courtesy in contacts with vendors, contractors, customers and others. Stay abreast of all relevant construction and building codes, standards and regulations. Provide expert guidance on manufacturing project provide cost forecasting for all assigned projects.

Manage Interdisciplinary team of Engineers and Designers to complete all required project deliverables. Manages project schedules of assigned projects. This position will be the single point of contact for clients on assigned projects.Job responsibilities include:Facilitate kick-off meetingsCoordinate fabrication drawing generationTransition project from estimating into fabrication phases and through site installationWork through Value Engineering opportunities with assigned team and clientContinually monitor project costsPurchase equipment and materials and ensure accurate, timely delivery of all needed materialsEnsure warranty compliance with vendorsEstablish a good working relationship with Plant Management and SuperintendentsManage all submittals for assigned projectsAttend any and all job related meetings as requiredOversee Operating & Maintenance manual developmentEnsure EAS and subcontractor compliance with contract and project specificationsApprove all invoices for paymentEnsure as-builts are completed in a timely and accurate mannerSchedule fabrication shipmentsDirect and coordinate work of all subcontractorsGenerate status reportsAccurately price change ordersEnsure all work in completed in accordance with EAS Safety ProgramDeliver the project to the pre determined and agreed budget, time and quality parametersSchedule workforce needs with Superintendents, Operations Manager and Human resourcesMaintain equipment listsMaintain an accurate Project Cost ReportDevelop and manage project schedulesCoordinate team schedules to meet deadlines including Engineering and Design DeliverablesSubmit accurate and timely Requests for PaymentOther job-related duties as may be assignedEducation:This Position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related field.

Significant experience in Construction Management may be accepted in lieu of a degree.Job Requirements/Special Skills:A minimum of 5+ years' experience in Industrial HVAC, energy service contracting (ESCO), central refrigeration plant, Design Build Contracting or energy efficiency fieldA minimum of 5+ years project Management experienceMust have the ability to manage multiple projectsMust be computer proficient in Word, Excel, Scheduling, Project Management software, design software (Revit a plus)Must have ability to work independently without direct supervisionHave knowledge of OSHA and other construction related rules and regulations
