Mid-Level Project ManagerWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mid-Level Project Manager to support the CTO. This PM will be a boots on the ground, scrum master within the Data Team, to manage:existing projects,new intake requests,help establish priorities across "owners" & stakeholdersmanage change management of in progress workprovide weekly detailed project statuses andbacklog estimationsLocation: Onsite in Nashville TN (Flexible Hybrid Schedule, 3 days onsite)Contract to Full Time Perm Hire: 6-12 months on contract and then full time conversionPay on contract: $40.00 - $48.00 / hourly (based on experience)Salary Conversion: $85,000 - $100,000 (based on experience)Key Responsibilities:Project Coordination: Oversee and track progress of existing projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timely delivery.Intake Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for new project requests, facilitating prioritization and resource allocation.Status Reporting: Prepare and deliver weekly detailed project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and dependencies.Backlog Estimation: Collaborate with technical teams to estimate effort and timelines for backlog items, supporting planning and execution.Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with cross-functional teams and leadership to ensure transparency and alignment.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve project workflows and implement best practices.Qualifications:3–5 years of experience in project management, preferably in healthcare or technology environments.Strong organizational and communication skills.Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, MS Project).Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.PMP or similar certification is a plus.Preferred Attributes:Experience working with CTOs or senior technology leaders.Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
