Project ManagerWe are looking for a Project Manager to join an industry-leading organization to drive Mining and Aggregate Construction-related projects throughout a key region.
The role will focus on developing company-wide strategies related to managing projects company-wide in a more efficient manner. We are seeking someone that is up to the challenge of growing and improving project-related efforts across the board. This organization is very stable and takes care of its people.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Leadership teams in all aspects of aggregate base and asphalt paving installations in accordance with DOT, local and commercial plans, and specifications.Project planning, permitting, cost estimating, design, drafting, scheduling, and reportingProviding detailed designs for plant retrofit and modification projectsAssist in the coordination of outside engineering, fabrication, and erection servicesPreparing proposals, cost estimates and justifications for future workScheduling work to meet completion dates, technical specifications, functional requirements, and budget constraintsMay be called upon at the discretion of management to perform other duties not listedUp to 30% travelRequirements3+ years of related engineering experience2+ years of practical work experienceWorking knowledge of structural, civil, and mechanical design of aggregate processing plants or related fieldWorking knowledge of concrete foundation designs and power transmission systemsWorking knowledge of surveying and drafting equipmentWorking knowledge of underground mining practices and equipmentStrong detail drafting and steel design with drafting software such as AutoCAD or InventorWorking knowledge of MS Windows systems (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint)Experience with erection, modification and rebuild of aggregate and asphalt plantsExperience with design and aligning production needs with plant capacitiesAbility to analyze production processes using tools such as AggFlow and identify enhancements that eliminate bottlenecks and increase efficiency
