Construction Project Manager – Multifamily Residential

An established Construction Management and Design-Build firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multifamily residential construction projects. This position is based out of Morristown, NJ.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ground-up multifamily construction, mixed-use developments, or large-scale residential projects, with experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion.
Responsibilities
- Manage multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and overall project performance.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and field teams throughout the design and construction process.
- Manage subcontractor buyout, contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and procurement.
- Monitor project costs, forecasting, billing, and financial performance.
- Coordinate design development, value engineering, permitting, and construction activities.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction project management experience with a Construction Management, Design-Build, or General Contracting firm.
- Experience managing ground-up multifamily residential or mixed-use construction projects.
- Strong understanding of preconstruction, design coordination, scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor management.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
