The role
The client is looking for a project manager with multifamily experience to join their Hickory office. You will manage projects from award through closeout within a company that also delivers medical and industrial work.
Responsibilities
- Manage multifamily projects day to day, covering budget, schedule, quality and safety
- Prepare and manage subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders and pay applications
- Run owner, architect and subcontractor meetings
- Track costs and forecast against budget
- Work closely with the superintendent and field team to keep the schedule on track
- Manage submittals, RFIs and closeout documentation
Requirements
- Previous experience as a project manager or assistant PM on multifamily projects
- Solid understanding of contracts, budgeting and cost control
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience with Procore or similar project management software
- Based in or willing to work out of the Hickory, NC office
