Project ManagerAn established general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role partners closely with field leadership and ownership to manage budgets, schedules, subcontracts, and client relationships across an active portfolio of ground-up and rehabilitation projects throughout California.This is a strong opportunity for a PM who thrives in a fast-moving environment, takes ownership of their projects, and wants to grow with a builder that has a deep and consistent pipeline of multifamily work.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all project management activities from buyout through final closeoutManage project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and owner billingsDevelop and maintain project schedules in coordination with field SuperintendentsOversee subcontractor buyout, contract execution, and scope-of-work developmentManage the RFI, submittal, and change order processesServe as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and consultantsCoordinate with Superintendents on field sequencing, manpower, and logisticsMonitor compliance with contract documents, quality standards, and safety requirementsPrepare and present project status reports for ownership and leadershipSupport project closeout including punchlist management, final documentation, and owner turnoverRequirements5 to 10 years of project management experience within a GC environmentGround-up multifamily or affordable housing construction experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of construction contracts, budgets, and schedulingExperience managing subcontractor buyout and scope-of-work developmentProficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office SuiteFamiliarity with affordable housing compliance requirements (HUD, CTAC, SHRA, prevailing wage) a plusStrong communication, organizational, and leadership skillsCompensation and BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchVehicle allowance or company vehicle packagePaid holidays and PTOLong-term growth opportunity with a stable and expanding builder
