Project ManagerFalcon Engineering Co., LLC d/b/a The Falcon Group is hiring one (1) fulltime Project Manager at its Miami, Florida office.
Responsibilities include coordinating and managing internal kick-off, milestone and closeout meetings for projects; verifying schedules, ensuring adherence to plans and timelines, with internal and external resources, to meet objectives efficiently; conducting on-site inspections, documenting existing conditions, performing field testing, photographing, creation of hand sketches, observing and tracking work in progress to ensure compliance with specifications; recording field measurements and performing calculations; interpreting construction plans, specifications, and construction manuals; preparing inspection field reports for clients through reviewing site observations, report findings, and provide recommendations based on relevant codes and standards; reviewing and evaluating change orders while assessing impact on scope, schedule, and budget; reviewing payment applications and verifying accuracy of work and materials supplied by contractors; preparing written correspondences with clients and contractors; reviewing investigation reports and bid documents, including drawings and technical specifications, for accurate interpretation and implementation; communicating status and addressing issues and discrepancies; maintaining organized records, files, drawings, and other essential data, and ensuring they are complete and stored appropriately; collecting post-project feedback to identify opportunities for improvement; improving job knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies and networks; and acting as a representative at industry events, seminars, and continuing education presentations. Minimum requirements: United States bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, architecture, or construction management. The foreign equivalent of the listed United States degrees will be accepted.
