HVAC Project ManagerImmediate opening for an HVAC Project Manager for a well-respected, well-established HVAC contractor based in western Suffolk County NY. Majority of work is in the 5 boroughs. Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial HVAC industry required.Duties may include:Managing all active jobs from start to finishOrganize and execute kick-off meetings between GC, Architect, Engineers and SubsOrganize and execute close out meetingsProvide services and information to clients in a timely fashionMonitoring projects schedules; tracking equipment, submittals, shop drawings, permits, etc.Daily reports from job site visitsSurvey inspections and create Bid Proposals and in-house contract proposals by estimating surveyed jobs (designed build & upgrades), as necessaryOversee all subs, techs and laborersOversee and monitor labor time & material, subs cost and budgetsSupervise all deliveries and equipment installation on siteReview and evaluate sub change orders, RFI's and submittalsAttend and participate in all project meetings, taking minutes and distribute to all team members in a timely fashionSkills:Knowledge of HVAC systemsAbility to explain and demonstrate equipmentCooling towers, chillers and rooftop condenser experience requiredStrong communication skills, including diplomacyStrong organizational & planning skillsComputer literacy requiredRelevant work experience requiredSpanish speaking a plusGood matrix skillsAbility to multi-taskSalary commensurate with experience.
