Mechanical Construction Project ManagerCustomized Mechanical Solutions, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager responsible for overseeing successful execution of projects. This includes managing financial performance, scheduling, and technical scope in line with contract requirements, project objectives, and corporate policies.

The role will also be involved in proposal preparation, cost estimating, scheduling, planning, design support, field execution, and closeout activities.Job ResponsibilitiesDefine project objectives, performance standards, and procedures in accordance with job specifications, project plans, and company guidelinesDevelop project schedules, budgets, and execution plans to achieve successful outcomesServe as the primary client contact and coordinate communication to meet project goalsSupport proposal preparation and negotiate contract changes in collaboration with internal teams and external partiesPlan and organize project staffing needs using approved hiring processesEnsure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with quality expectationsOversee financial tracking and reporting, maintaining profitability and strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendorsManage requisitions for materials, vendors, and subcontractorsPerform other assigned dutiesRequirementsRequired SkillsBackground in mechanical construction is preferredStrong leadership and collaboration skills for building cohesive project teamsProfessional communication skills across written, verbal, and in-person interactionsIn-depth understanding of construction practices, project scheduling, contract administration, document interpretation, financial oversight, and equipment usageProficiency with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Project, and Primavera P6Ability to work independently and complete assignments with minimal supervisionEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field and at least 3 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager, or more than 7 years in a similar project management role; ORAssociate's degree in related field and at least 5 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager, or more than 9 years of relevant outside experienceTravel RequirementsTravel: 10%–25%Frequency varies based on project needsPhysical RequirementsThis role includes both field and office responsibilities.Field conditions:Work in proximity to heavy machinery and equipmentExposure to outdoor weather conditions, including rain, heat, cold, and humidityNoise levels may be high due to construction equipmentMust be able to lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedlyRegular physical movement, including walking, standing, and bending for extended periodsOffice conditions:Sedentary work in a climate-controlled environmentExtended computer use and office equipment operationPeriodic lifting of up to 15 lbs. (e.g., small packages or equipment)
