The Project Manager's role is to communicate with customers to ensure on-time delivery of qualified product while reducing operating costs, which will increase company profits. This role will require a constant attention to scope, schedule and budgets.
Communication with internal and external customers is key to the project manager's success.· Manage multiple surface projects simultaneously from turnover to final payment· Budgeting – maintain an accurate project budget throughout the duration of the project · Purchasing materials within budget and on time for production needs· Invoicing customers per schedule of values to maintain positive cash flow· Coordination of scope· Scheduling – coordinate customers schedules in conjunction with our production schedule· Customer communication – maintain timely customer communicationsProject Manager qualifications:- Proven experience in project management roles in a busy millwork shop environment- Excellent communication and leadership skills- Experience with material procurement, scheduling, invoicing, and collections.- Excellent computer skills- Experience with Filemaker Pro software a plus.- Business or Construction related degree a plus.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
