Project ManagerISCO Industries is an end-to-end piping solutions provider that specializes in HDPE. The Manufacturing and Capital Project Manager position mainly supports ISCO's manufacturing facilities across the United States. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage capital and manufacturing projects that support company growth. This position is based in our Louisville, KY fabrication facility where we have a dedicated projects area for product R & D, equipment design/development, and fabrication. Work with the Manufacturing and Capital Projects Team, individual plant leads, vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to bring projects from conception to completion. Plan and manage projects from the Louisville office as well as travel to ISCO's many sites for implementation and support. Work both independently and in collaboration within the Manufacturing and Capital Projects Team.Essential DutiesManage capital projects including:New specialty equipment specification, procurement, and installationForklift, crane, and other standard equipment specification, procurement, installation, and trackingExisting equipment rebuilds and movesNew equipment design, fabrication, and installationFacility projects ranging from remodels and additions to new buildsManage manufacturing projects including:New product R&DLean manufacturing and process improvementProduction work cell moves or expansionsTooling specification, design, procurement, and fabricationPerform project management tasks for existing and new manufacturing and capital projects including creating and maintaining project:ChartersScopesSchedulesCost trackersRisk registersHandoff documentationLessons learnedCommunication with:On-site vendors for facility projects and equipment installationsVendors for outsourced fabrication, machining, etc.Equipment manufacturersPart suppliersInternal stakeholders including on-site leadership and subject matter experts, Manufacturing Projects Team, Quality, Safety, and ManagementWork extensively with the Manufacturing and Capital Projects Team Members as subject matter experts on a variety of projectsManage multiple projects simultaneously, balance resources, and report on status regularlyRecognize opportunities for value creation and innovation in the project management process and within the Manufacturing and Capital Projects TeamDevelop and maintain document and organization standards within Manufacturing and Capital Projects TeamDocument and organize all projects worked on.Support operations and company initiatives.Perform other tasks as needed.Base Qualifications and CompetenciesEducation: Qualified candidates will possess, at minimum, a Bachelor's Degree. Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or other Engineering discipline preferred.Certifications: PMP certification preferredExperience: 5 – 15 years. Project management experience required.
Experience with manufacturing equipment or facilities management preferred.Skills:Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.)Scheduling (Smartsheet preferred)Strong communication and organization skills requiredTravel RequiredYes.
