Project ManagerThe Project Manager will oversee budget preparation, scheduling, timelines, materials procurement, staffing for various construction and repair projects. Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple options for how to progress with the project. Oversee corporate-wide equipment, making sure all divisions are getting the equipment needed to continue operations without any interruption.
This position reports directly to the Corporate Production Manager.Compensation$140,000-$160,000 per year salaryMedical, dental and vision coverage offered401(k) With employer safe harbor contributionPaid holidays, vacation and sick timeCompany sponsored life insuranceCompany sponsored short and long-term disabilityPet Insurance offered with employee copayDuties and ResponsibilitiesMust oversee all assigned projects from start to finish to ensure that projects are completed in a satisfactory manner and stay on time and within budgetOversee the proper installation of equipmentFacilitate a positive and productive work environment for all parties involved in assigned projects and ensure that they are working together, communicating, and sharing necessary informationMay be responsible for overseeing multiple ongoing projects at once and is expected to be able to stay organized and manage their timeCommunicate with key stakeholders, including members of Corporate and Division Management, to determine project requirements and objectives prior to and during the carrying out of assigned projectsIdentify and make recommendations on new projects that will lead to improvements in Company processes related to safety, regulatory compliance and productionIdentify and coordinate all aspects of assigned projects, including permitting, materials procurement, internal and external staffing, subcontractors, testing, commissioning, etc.Prepare cost budgets for projects by obtaining bids, estimating costs based on construction standard costs, estimating labor hours, applying applicable fees, permit costs, taxes, etc.Prepare and update Gantt charts for projects based on input from the Corporate Production ManagerClosely monitor project milestones to ensure that projects are being completed on schedule, and notify the Corporate Production Manager about any known or potential time delays for projectsEnsure all assigned projects comply with all regulatory and building codes and standardsWork directly with permitting bodies and consultants to ensure permits for projects are filed properly and expeditiouslyPrepare and submit weekly written reports on the status of all ongoing projectsResponsible for answering and addressing any questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout each assigned projectSupervise department staff to meet performance expectations and review and approve all department staff time cards and time off requestsAssist with department hiring, discipline, wage increases, and promoting of department staffEnsures the proper spare equipment is on hand for the necessary divisionsReview all blueprints and work for technical accuracyCompare blueprints with outside contractor proposalsReview and negotiate contracts from outside vendors and subcontractorsReview quotes and communicates necessary information to the Corporate Production Manager, COO and CEOInteract with others in a professional and ethical mannerFollow department and company proceduresKeep up regular attendance and punctuality; regular attendance and punctuality are essential for the smooth operation of this companyOther duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the business. These responsibilities may change from time to time are business needs evolve over time.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in EngineeringMinimum 4 years of Engineering experience, Mechanical preferredMinimum 5 years of project management experience with 3 years of direct supervisory experienceMust be able to read and use AutoCAD/AutoCAD Plant 3D latest versionKnowledge of Navisworks and extracting BOMs is a plusAbility to read blueprintsProficient in writing and speaking in English.
