In this role, you will manage diverse projects varying in size, scope, and complexity while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. Atwell offers a flexible, entrepreneurial environment, a vibrant office culture, and the opportunity to work with clients and teams across the country.Project Leadership & ManagementLead project teams in the preparation, review, and delivery of preliminary and final site plans, engineering designs, and construction documents.Manage project schedules, budgets, quality control, and client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.Prepare technical reports, recommendations, and project analyses to support successful project execution.Technical ExpertiseReview and evaluate survey data, existing site conditions, and development constraints, including legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, condominium documents, and related records.Prepare and oversee engineering analyses and design documentation, including: Hydrologic and hydraulic studiesDue diligence and site feasibility reportsEngineer's opinions of probable construction costsUtility system calculationsDetention and retention pond design calculationsStormwater management reportsStorm sewer design reportsEarthwork and volume calculationsPreliminary and final grading plansLocal, state, and regulatory permit applicationsStormCAD and WaterCAD modeling and analysisTeam Development & Construction SupportProvide guidance, mentorship, and technical direction to junior engineers and designers.Coordinate construction-related services, including permit applications, quantity estimates, cut sheets, transmittals, and construction documentation.Oversee the organization and preparation of site plans, construction plans, and complete construction drawing packages.Software & Design ToolsUtilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to prepare designs and deliverables efficiently and accurately.Ensure all assignments are completed on schedule and in accordance with company standards, client requirements, and project budgets.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.Professional Engineer (PE) license required.10+ years of experience in civil engineering and land development.Strong knowledge of site development design, permitting, and construction documentation.Proven ability to manage projects, mentor staff, and maintain client relationships.
