Project Manager – Land Development DesignSoltesz is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Land Development Design to join our growing Waldorf office. This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer to lead a diverse portfolio of land development projects while helping clients achieve their development goals throughout Southern Maryland and the surrounding region.The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with exceptional leadership, client relationship management, and business development skills. This position plays a key role in project success, staff development, and the continued growth of the firm.What You'll DoAs a Project Manager, you will oversee projects from concept through construction while serving as a trusted advisor to clients and a mentor to project teams.Key responsibilities include:Manage a portfolio of civil engineering and land development projectsServe as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong working relationshipsLead project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring client satisfactionDevelop and prepare proposals, scopes of work, and fee estimatesManage project schedules, budgets, profitability, and invoicingProvide technical guidance and expertise to support client development objectivesRepresent clients during project milestones, agency meetings, public presentations, and hearingsSupport business development and marketing efforts to expand client relationships and grow the firm's presenceLead, mentor, and develop engineers, designers, and project staffOversee quality control, workload planning, and resource managementCollaborate with senior leadership to achieve company goals and strategic objectivesWhat You'll BringBachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringActive Professional Engineer (PE) license in Maryland10-12 years of progressive civil engineering and land development design experienceMinimum of 5 years managing civil/site design projectsMinimum of 5 years supervising and developing technical staffStrong understanding of land development design, permitting, and regulatory processesExperience working on projects in Southern Maryland preferredProven success building and maintaining client relationshipsExcellent organizational, delegation, leadership, and communication skillsCommitment to quality, collaboration, and client service excellenceWhy Join Soltesz?At Soltesz, our commitment to excellence begins with talented, energetic, and client-focused professionals.
