Project Manager - Land Development Design

Project ManagerSoltesz is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Lanham office. This is an opportunity for a licensed civil engineer to lead land development projects, build trusted client relationships, mentor talented professionals, and contribute to the continued success of a well-established multidisciplinary firm.The Project Manager will oversee projects from planning through completion while managing client expectations, project teams, schedules, budgets, quality, and financial performance. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with effective leadership, communication, and client-service skills.What You'll DoManage civil engineering and land development projects from initiation through completionServe as a primary point of contact for clients and provide responsive, solutions-oriented serviceLead, supervise, and mentor engineers, designers, and other project team membersCoordinate staff assignments, workloads, and project prioritiesOversee project quality control and the technical review of plans and deliverablesDevelop proposals, scopes of work, project budgets, and fee estimatesMaintain project schedules, budgets, financial performance, and invoicingProvide team members with regular feedback, coaching, and recognitionCollaborate with senior leadership to advance company goalsSupport business development and help cultivate new and existing client relationshipsWhat You'll BringBachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringActive Professional Engineer registration in MarylandAt least eight years of progressive civil engineering and land development design experienceDemonstrated experience managing and developing staffStrong technical ability to develop and review plans and collaborate with engineers, planners, and surveyorsExperience working on land development projects in suburban Maryland preferredExperience with Prince George's County projects and review processes is a plusExcellent project management, organizational, and delegation skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsA commitment to quality, client service, teamwork, and professional developmentWhy Join Soltesz?Competitive compensationHealth and dental benefitsA 401(k) retirement planA family-friendly work environmentOpportunities for professional development and career advancementThe opportunity to work on a diverse range of public- and private-sector projectsSoltesz is a land development engineering firm serving clients throughout the Washington, D.C.
